Photo bloggers will love this! Do you post lots of photo on your blog? About your daily life, of friends and families? Do you own a DSLR? Then you’ll have same problem with other Photo Bloggers.
You took many many photo on your camera, you come home to your computer, ready to blog. You plugged in your camera to your computer, then you transfer all your photos onto your computer. So far so good. Then you select your photos from the hundreds, deleting the blurred, out of focused ones. Still ok? Then, you need to resize the photos. Oh man, each and every photo needs resizing and you gotta do it for each and every photo.
What if there is a software where you can just click a button and your 100 photos will be resized automatically, every single one, without you needing to click on anything else?
I recently heard of this software and it does exactly that. No worries, here are the steps to get it up and running.
Step one. Browse to this site and download the file. http://www.mariussoft.com/Download/ImageResizer.zip. The file is small, only 1.1mb,
should take a minute or two.
Step two. Unzip it, Install it by double-clicking on the .msi file.
Step three. Run it. Oh look, very nice interface too.
Step four. From here on, it should be quite intuitive. But if you really need to know the steps, Click on the Add button, select all the photos you want to resize (note that you can select from multiple folders, not just one at a time). Next, at the top right, select the sizes you want to resize to. Add a prefix or suffix to the filename of the newly resized photos. Select the Output Directory. Click Convert!
Step five. Done! Very convenient, very easy to use. Thumbs up. ![]()
One thing that should be noted here is that it does not automatically add Watermark to your photos. Now, don’t you wish you can just select a transparent image file and then it’ll superimpose this to all your photos at pre-selected location (bottom right, for example). I guess that will be one good upgrade to look forward to. Don’t worry, if that upgrade comes about, Revotra.com will be the first to let you know.
Until then, happy saving time resizing files and spend more time on blogging!
