Ever wonder why your Adsense is not exactly accurate to your post? Say you put imagesan Adsense beside your post on Cheese Burgers. But Adsense displays links that contain 'Reduce Weight now!'. After much scanning, you realised you had a link at the top left of your blog that links to a 'Weight Loss' post.

Obviously, you do not want this. You want your Adsense to display only ads that is related to Cheese Burgers. Then and only then will your visitors are more likely to click on it.

So here are the steps on how to make sure that happens on your Blogger/Blogspot.

Go to Layout, Edit HTML and Click on Expand Widget Templates. Then search for 'post.body'. See the screen shot below to help you. Click on it to enlarge.

Untitled-2

Insert the text below around <data:post.body/>. The Bold text are the new codes to be inserted.

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->
<data:post.body/>
<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

That's it! There is nothing much to it. What this effectively do is to make sure that your Adsense will focus on ONLY the text within your blog post and NOT the link on your top right corner.

This method is recommended by Google themselves and they are the ones that created these tags to be used. In fact, they even have a way to set Adsense to ignore a section of your site. Section Targeting for Google Adsense.

As always, if you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to ask, we'll help you. Here is to : No more 'Reduce Weight now!' and more of Cheese Burgers' ads!
